Jean teaches piano and voice through Harmony Music Studio.

Jean Hinton is a Certified Music Therapist (MTA, MT-BC) and holds a Bachelor of Music Therapy degree from the Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Voice Performance from The King’s University in Edmonton. She returned home to Southern Alberta in May 2019 to pursue her Music Therapy Internship. Now an Accredited Music Therapist, Jean is starting her own Music Therapy practice in Lethbridge and area.

Between Music Therapy training and her upbringing in the Southern Alberta arts community, Jean plays a number of instruments: voice, piano, guitar, trumpet, baritone, tuba, and ukulele. She enjoys every opportunity for solo and group stage performance.

Jean serves on the worship team at her church, where you can find her singing and playing keys. She is passionate about selecting and using songs with thoughtfulness.

Jean loves the collaborative nature of music-making. Songwriting and jamming are some of her favourite musical activities.
