Shayla Overn grew up in Coaldale in a large homeschool family. She has been taking piano since she was five years old. Recently taking her grade 8 practical exam with Conservatory Canada, she passed with first class honors. She started teaching piano last year and really enjoys getting to know the children and helping them progress towards their musical goals. Shayla is a very passionate musician. Dance and voice lessons have also been a part of her life and in her free time she enjoys drawing and writing songs on her guitar.
